Barely a month after the release of At The Moment’s rollicking first single, ‘Home’, the young band (literally and figuratively) follows up with ‘Fly’, a slow rock anthem that is as every bit of massive as they sound so far. Imagine an arena of people swaying slowly to this, the crowd crooning “oooohh” along with vocalist Vince Agcaoili. This band exudes the same charm that draws a generation of youth, the zany and the hippies both, raising their beers to this. Caught between the Arctic Monkeys’ Suck It and See era and (oddly reminiscent of) Bread’s ‘The Guitar Man’ – here’s the middle ground of a great band that’s about to become.
P.S. I really dig whoever’s making the cover art of their songs.
